American Automobile Association (AAA) Four Diamond Award 2016
This distinguished achievement ranks Honua Kai Resort & Spa as a premier establishment esteemed by the professional inspectors, hospitality industry professionals and more than 53 million AAA members. Now 5 years in a row, only 5.4 percent of the 28,000 hotels approved by AAA make the Four Diamond list.
MLT Vacations Quality Assurance Award
For a fifth consecutive year, Honua Kai Resort & Spa has been recognized by MLT Vacations with its Quality Assurance Award. This prestigious award celebrates partners that achieve a 99% customer satisfaction index, 99% product delivery performance and outstanding quality. Of the more than 4,000 hotel and resort locations offered by MLT Vacations, only 207 earned the Quality Assurance Award for 2015. Honua Kai, along with an elite group of 8 other Maui hotels received the award.
Apple Vacations Golden Apple Award
For a fifth consecutive year, Honua Kai Resort & Spa has been awarded the Apple Vacations Golden Apple Hotel Award in 2015. The award is given to those hotels that have earned exceptional customer ratings. Golden Apple Hotels offer an exceptional standard of quality, service and value. Travel agents report that the Golden Apple designation builds consumer confidence and has a major influence on purchase decisions.
U.S. News & World Report Best Hotel Rankings
Honua Kai Resort & Spa was ranked the #7 Best Maui Hotels and #22 Best Hawaii Hotels on the U.S. News & World Report 2015 Best Hotels Rankings list. Maui was also named the #1 Best Place to Visit in the USA for 2015. Honua Kai also ranked #3 Best Maui Hotels and #16 Best Hawaii Hotels by U.S. News & World Report in 2014. To create the rankings, U.S News & World Report evaluated over 2,500 luxury hotels across the U.S., Caribbean, Mexico and Canada, taking into consideration the prominence of industry accolades a hotel receives along with its reputation among travel experts and guests expressed through online reviews and ratings.
